SAP support informed me that Windows 7 is an unsupported platform for Xcelsius Present.

Under XP and Vista they gave me instructions on how to REGEDIT an entry to give extra permissions I guess to allow a write of the valid activation key code. This version of the SETUP.EXE asks for the activition key up front during the installation. The old installation installed the software and asked for the activation key after the program is launched and the product was already installed. Bottom Line: Issue resolved. I'm running Xcelsius 2008 SP3 under Windows 7 with a valid activation key. All I did was right click on the exe run file and hit 'run as administrator.'

Then when I was prompted to enter my code, it was accepted no problem.
