Sep 13, 2015 - Three unique airports - St. Maarten (TNCM), St Barthelemy (TFFJ) and Saba (TNCS) in a FlyTampa scenery. Turning this effects off (at least some of them) may help improve FSX performance. Not just an airport near a resort – the TNCM is located right in between hotels, casinos and beaches.

-Added the new terminal. Tested with WOAI, UGA and some alpha india AI packages. Not tested with other scenery payware products, such as REX Not tested with TRAFFIC X or other payware AI traffic package, but I'm sure it will work! My work is based on google earth images, official charts and real photos. I used only objects from default libraries and from Jim Dhaenens Library. Giorgio Nicola.

If the package has more, you will need to download it to view them. Editorial I always find that as I do my world tours in FSX that I can find the overall level of detail across the board can be a bit lacking. Whilst this is always a bit dispiriting, I have always found comfort in the fact you can add in these brilliant scenery packages. For example, this remake of the brilliant Princess Juliana International – an airport I have visited in real-life actually!

– is one of the finest I have come across. When I try to relive my times pent in the Netherlands Antilles, I’ll usually try and find this scenery package. It really helps to make the airport looks as authentic as it should and the detail it brings to the table is just exceptional. I’ve tested it out using numerous packages and formats to see just how well it holds up and I have to say it’s very impressive.

From the detailed gate positions and the names to the scale and size of the buildings, this manages to capture the PJI Airport perfectly. Everything from the GA parking to the business jet parking looks spectacular, too! The runway are all put together in the finest fashion possible, too, with runway numbers all now finally matching up. This was a big annoyance for me in the past so it was nice to put it all together in this fashion and see it all come together.

Indeed, this also adds a new terminal to the airport that has been put together using the default buildings. The detail and the style of the airport is spot on, and they’ve really captured the way that it should feel and look at all times. The corrected gates and taxiways was a big thing for me personally, as now I know exactly where I’m going at all times and don’t feel as if I’m getting lost at all. I’ve tested it out through numerous settings with lots of different aircraft and have to say that the overall level of consistency and quality shown throughout is just marvelous. However, I’ve not tested this with any other AI packages like TRAFFIC X or anything like that, so I recommend that you try them out yourself to see what you think.

What I did find was that the majority of the traffic felt natural here anyway so it might not be needed, but it seems to be a very compatible and easy to run with software package so I assume it will be OK! I really do recommend that you give this a go if you want to see fresh and engaging new scenery in this airport. For example, the official charts and realistic photos all combine together spectacularly to put the whole thing together in as realistic as manner as possible. The only objects used throughout come from the massively reputed Jim Dhaenens Library so you know that the items will look outstanding and the whole thing will more or less mirror its real life counterpart, which is what we all wish to see!
