Drivers Riso Comcolor 7050
Print Drivers Welcome to the Print Driver download center for RISO Latin printing equipment. The process has been streamlined to speed you through selecting and downloading the correct driver for your machine.
We have one here, had problems with teachers who had upgraded to windows 10 (even after i told them not too!) with print jobs getting stuck at 'spooling' but ive done a clean install of win10 on one laptop for testing, and ive not come accross any problems myself.Yep - I had these exact problems too, but installing the latest driver has fixed most issues. In some cases the printer doesn't appear for some users, it's just really odd. There's also a Ricoh on the same network that works with no issues. Did you or have you had an engineer apply any firmware upgrades on the photocopier?
On a related note, does anyone know of a tool or a command I can run, to reset the Windows 10 spooler to defaults? In other words to delete all third party drivers, so it's forced to pull down drivers 'as new'? I can't seem to find anything that will do it!I haven't tried this method on Windows 10, but it works great on 7. Delete the registry key for the offending print driver and restart the print spool service. Windows will remove all printers using said driver and when you reinstall it will overwrite the remnants of the old driver.
After communicating with the leasing company, they agreed with me that RISO's support was somewhat lacking. At the current time, you have to use one driver for Windows Server and older Windows versions (7 or later), but a separate driver specifically for Windows 10 - version 3.4.0.0.
The firmware on the photocopier was updated to version 9.65 and all is well. Sometime next year, a proper combined driver will be released. Question is, why didn't RISO do this in the first place?? I also managed to find a way of properly deleting printers on Windows 10. Using works and deletes all network printers as required.

Where did you go for the firmware download? Pain in the arse constantly clearing documents that are stuck spooling, hope this fixes it!
